Expert ADHD and Autism Evaluations | Therapy for Infertility, Pregnancy, and Couples
-
What kinds of testing do you offer?I provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning differences, and emotional/behavioral concerns. All reports are personalized and designed to support accommodations, treatment, or clarity.
-
What is the testing process like? After an intake appointment, I’ll schedule in-person testing sessions (usually 4 hours). I may also send digital forms to parents, teachers, or clients to complete. You'll receive a detailed written report and a feedback session to discuss results.
-
Do you offer testing for adults too?Yes — I test across the lifespan. Adult assessments for ADHD, Autism, or mood-related concerns are tailored to your specific questions. I also specialize in working with high masking adolescents and adults.
-
Can you test for both ADHD and Autism at the same time?Yes, I frequently conduct combined evaluations when multiple concerns are present. The report will address both diagnoses in depth.
-
Will I receive a report? Can I use it for school or work accommodations?Yes. Every client receives a comprehensive written report that can be submitted to schools, employers, or medical providers for accommodations or support. However, these are recommendations and not a guarantee that they will be accepted.
-
Why do I see testing offered for lower prices elsewhere? The cost of psychological testing can vary widely depending on who is providing it and what the evaluation includes. Lower-cost options are often conducted by clinicians with master’s-level training, who may be limited in the types of diagnoses they can give or reports they can produce. As a result, many of these reports are not accepted by psychiatrists, schools or employers. As a licensed psychologist, I offer doctoral-level assessments that are comprehensive, diagnostically valid, and appropriate for across settings. My reports are detailed, legally sound, and designed to support meaningful accommodations or interventions — not just a diagnosis on paper.
-
What issues do you specialize in?I work with adolescents and adults across the lifespan, particularly around perinatal mental health, infertility, anxiety, life transitions, and neurodiversity (ADHD/Autism).
-
What can I expect therapy with you to feel like?Therapy with me is a mix of warmth, honesty, and a little humor to keep it human. I don’t hide behind a blank stare and a clipboard — I show up as a real person, and I’m not afraid to share when it helps you feel less alone. I’ll cheer you on, sit with you in the hard stuff, and occasionally call you out (kindly!) when you're stuck in your own way. Expect some laughs, real talk, and a space where growth feels possible — even when it’s messy.
-
How often do we meet, and for how long? Most clients begin with weekly 50-minute sessions. We can adjust frequency as needed over time.
-
Do you offer virtual therapy sessions?Yes, I offer secure virtual therapy sessions for clients throughout all PSYPACT states (https://psypact.org/page/psypactmap). I also provide in-person sessions in Paoli, PA.
-
Do you accept insurance?I am a private pay provider, which means I do not accept insurance. However, I can provide a superbill if you’d like to seek reimbursement through your out-of-network benefits.
-
How can I tell if therapy is working? You’ll know therapy is working when you begin to feel more aware, empowered, and connected to yourself — even if the process is sometimes uncomfortable or emotional.
-
What kinds of couples do you work with?I work with couples in all stages of a relationship — from new parents navigating change, to long-term partners feeling stuck or disconnected, to those recovering from infidelity or resentment.
-
What is your approach to couples therapy?I use the Gottman Method and emotionally focused interventions. We’ll build emotional safety, learn to communicate more effectively, and shift unhelpful patterns.
-
What should we expect in the first few sessions of couples therapy? We start with a joint 90-minute intake session. Occasionally, we will follow up with individual sessions with each partner. We will then meet for joint 50-minute sessions and begin applying tools and strategies tailored to your relationship dynamics.
-
Can you help us even if things feel really tense or shut down?Yes — it’s never “too late.” I’m skilled in working with high-conflict or emotionally distant couples, and I’ll guide you both gently and honestly.
-
How long does couples therapy take?It depends on your goals and your willingness to do the work outside of sessions. Some couples come for just a few months; others stay longer for deeper repair and growth.
